An ICT-Based Solution for Alleviating Security and Inefficiency Problems in Unattended Autonomous Transportational Control to Ports

A port is a facility for receiving ships and transferring cargo. A line of container trucks access the port for harbor loading and unloading. Unattended control of transportational passing gates may be vulnerable in port security and sometimes brings out inefficient situations in harboroperations. This paper proposes a solution for an ICT-based autonomous control service which can alleviate security and inefficiency problems in transportational operations of ports. Results of system implementation and evaluation tests proved that the proposed solution is verified for achievingthe goals.
