The Swedish company Scanmaskin intends its latest generation of grinding machines,the World Series,to have a service life of up to 20 years.For this reason,the company has involved the specialist seal company SKF in the development of the products.As Paolo Bergstrand,CEO of Scanmaskin,explains:”Professional floor grinders operate in harsh conditions and dust has a major impact on their reliability and performance.They must be able to withstand rough and uneven surfaces while grinding the largest possible area in the shortest possible time.The machines’seals play an important role in ensuring that they can achieve the required level of efficiency.”
