A motorcycle enthusiast from the UK took part in the Dakar Rally 2017 after a company in Preston, UK, helped by supplying components for the powerful, lightweight bike. Lyndon Poskitt, of St Michael's on Wyre, tackled the gruelling 5700-mile rally, which began in Paraguay on 2 January and concluded in Argentina two weeks later.
