Teijin Ltd is to buy tier-one composite parts supplier Benet Automotive sro from Jet Investment. The terms of the deal will not be disclosed. Benet of Mlada Boleslav, Czechia, employs a number of moulding technologies to produce parts from carbon fibre- and glass fibre-reinforced plastics (CFRPs and GFRPs), and paints and assembles vehicles. The company specializes in reinforced reaction injection moulding (RRIM) - a low-pressure process that employs polyurethane (PU) matrices - resin-transfer moulding (RTM) and conventional autoclave-based production processes.
