Learn Something New in the New Year

The beginning of a new year is a time to start fresh-and not just with personal resolutions.As 2019 kicks off,consider what you can do to enhance your career,your company and the composites industry as a whole. In November,I spoke to a group of emerging student leaders at my alma mater,Ohio University.(Go Bobcats!)I provided the young adults advice on moving from the College Green-the university's central lawn-to the C-suite in a corporation.One of the things I suggested was that the students continue to learn long past graduation and throughout their careers.As the new year begins, encourage you to do the same: Make it a goal to add to your skill set by learning something new.
