ArcelorMittal to increase output in central Asia

ArcelorMittal Temirtau's unit in Kazakhstan plans to produce 14% more crude steel at 3.94 Mt this year, aswell as 8.3% more iron ore concentrate at 3.09 Mt and 6% more coal production at 11.1 Mt.Looking back at last year's performance, the plant's general director Vijay Mahadevan said production ofconverter steel and sales remained at 2014's level of 2014.
