The upward sheet price cycle continued in Southern Europe over the past month – until this week. Italian HR coil prices increased w/w for 7 consecutive weeks, while CR coil and HDG have also trended higher, though with a little more volatility of week-to-week movement. This week has seen a change in trend and all Italian sheet prices are down by €2-3/t w/w.
