Airborne & Maritime/Fixed Station Joint Tactical Radio System (AMF JTRS)

This is the final SAR submission for the Airborne & Maritime/Fixed Station Joint Tactical Radio System (AMF JTRS). Pursuant to section 2432 of title 10, United States Code, this is the final SAR submission for AMF JTRS program because the program is cancelled. On July 17, 2018, the Army Acquisition Executive (AAE) issued an ADM terminating the AMF Small Airborne Networking Radio (SANR) subprogram. Therefore, the Army cannot certify that requirements are stable for this program in accordance with section 2430(4)(A) of title 10. U.S. Code. The Army's network modernization strategy includes halting programs that do not or are not likely to address operational requirements and pivoting to a new acquisition methodology that fosters rapid insertion of new technology. As a result of assessment of the AMF SANR program, and in line with this strategy, the AAE directed program cancellation. All funding in FY 2020 and beyond was withdrawn from AMF SANR budget lines in the FY 2020 PB request.
