Demand and prices for welded pipes to grow from February

Welded pipe production costs are expected to increase in the CISbecause of the rise in strip prices. Domestic HR coil prices will beraised on recovering demand in the foreign flat product marketsaccompanied with higher FOB quotations. In Russia and Ukraine,domestic strip offers will go up by 4-7% and 5-6% respectively inFebruary-March. Higher input costs will encourage producers to putup domestic welded pipe prices.
