摘要

Background: Biomechanical changes that persist after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury may impact shortand long-term outcomes. Understanding the relationship of biomechanics during a dynamic task and patient reported function can better identify patients who are most vulnerable to sub-optimal long-term outcomes, such as osteoarthritis (OA). The purpose of this study was to determine whether hip and knee biomechanics during single-leg hop landing were significantly correlated with the Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS), and whether symptomatic knees displayed altered biomechanics relative to asymptomatic knees.
