There are a number of reasons to publish a paper in Aust. J. Chem.: it's our national journal, it's also an international journal and it will celebrate its 70th year in 2018. We are committed to raising the profile of the journal, and continue to find interest from a variety of countries through requests for reprints or at least the .pdf files. We, of course, encourage those institutions to take out a subscription to the journal and provide access directly for their researchers.
