Italy: SYSTEM Ceramics: Re-invention of Ceramic Tile Production Towards Industry 4.0

SYSTEM Ceramics is a worldwide leader in process engineering for ceramic tiles. It offers highly innovative technologies from shaping to decoration including quality control from end of line to packaging up to storage and handling. One highlight at Tecnargilla 2018 was the presentation of the new models of LAMGEA - the mouldless press for the production of ceramic slabs in sizes up to 1800 mm × 4800 mm, LAMGEA 50 000 t, at a required thickness of 3-30 mm. Andrea Gozzi (AG), Business Line Director of the unit SYSTEM Lamina, explained the new approach to tile production at the company's impressive stand at Tecnargilla 2018.
