摘要

The allylic selective oxidation reaction is becoming increasingly important because of the possibility to transform lower olefins into higher value-added chemicals. This work reports the development of a new highly efficient catalyst based on the Mo-Bi-Co-Fe-O solid solution consisting of the single Co6Fe4Mo12Bi1.5Ox phase for the tert-butyl alcohol oxidation to methacrolein. This particular solid catalyst composition led to significant activity enhancement by the cooperative catalysis of two different active sites present in this single phase system. Moreover, to obtain a solid solution capable of replacing two or more cooperating catalytic phases, is a novel approach for the synthesis of high performance catalysts.
