Arcobonsai, a beautiful annual recurrence of meetings, creativity, and display of important bonsai!In this beautiful party we were there to exhibit suiseki of the A.I.A.S.(Associazione Italiana Amatori Suiseki) coordinated by our president Luciana Queirolo. The exhibit spaces were not many but we were all very happy to be in Arco in this beautiful atmosphere! Beautiful people, beautiful market of flowers, plants, containers and various accessories for bonsai and suiseki. Evening meetings, dinners, lots of healthy fun and merriment with old friends, but as one of my art teachers used to say: nella vita cercate di coltivare la mistica e la mastical The phrase means that inlife, one must be both thoughtful and practical. I really like this motto and it represents me. I think that every stone collector when looking for a stone to present as suiseki (to cultivate a stone) is looking for something that represents ones self,maybe we only find what we represent at that particular moment! When I picked up this stone, even if it was dirty with mud, it movedme as if I had touched a hidden part of myself! It was one of the first important and communicative stones. Some stones speak to you immediately, others you like, you take them home and put them, as someone says, in the pile. Every now and then I look atthem and wait for the message, the strong one, that tells me you are ready. This will not only be said by the stone but by the change or maturation that has taken place in us, which allows us to better understand its shape, its strength, and its natureand it will seem to us to add a piece to the puzzle of our experience and feeling pleased with this! And now comes the beauty, when the painting is ready, it must be displayed! After asking everyone's advice, daiza or suiban, table and scroll... very confusing, but then when everything is ready, it is exhibited! The moment is delicate, I have some panic attacks, then I understand that it is fear—fear that it will not be understood or that you will not agree with me! And behind the fear I find jealousy... that comes up too often, or that you are not respected, etc.
