Tips and Techniques:Aluminum or Copper

One of the first "controversies" one encounters when beginning bonsai is the question of which wire is best for bonsai training: aluminum or copper. The answer one gets is often strongly colored by the sales preference of the vendor being questioned.As with so many other things in bonsai, there maybe no 'best" wire for bonsai, only a best for the situation at hand. In fact, any wire will do the job of bending a branch if skillfully applied and observed over time. Since almost everyone uses either aluminum or copper, these two are the ones I'll consider here.
