I'm a Sculptor, not a Potter

When you tell people you work with clay they say "Oh, you're a potter!" I always reply that, "I don't work on the potter's wheel. I don't make pots, I'm a sculptor!" Sculpture and pottery are two very different things. I have worked with clay exclusively for over 30 years, but my main focus has been figurative sculpture.
