Process Development of a Closed CAR-T Manufacturing Process

I yer's presentation focused on process development in a closed manufacturing process for chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cells. The work was conducted through a collaboration between GE Healthcare and the Center for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine (CCRM), a public-private partnership in which a team of 105 people (both GE Healthcare and CCRM employees) work together at one location. CCRM is nonprofit, making it a unique model that empowers the team to be agile and move quickly in developing a closed CAR-T process. The team acts as part of the Center for Advanced Therapeutic Cell Technologies (CATCT).
