Asia ethylene margins squeezed by feed costs, price drops

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Drops in regional ethylene prices and increases in naphtha feedstock costs sent Asia ethylene margins sharply lower in the week ended 27 October, the ICIS margin report showed on Monday. Northeast Asia ethylene margins based on naphtha and those based on liquid petroleum gas (LPG) fell by 15%.
