Asia MEG margins continue ascent as product prices rise

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Integrated monoethylene glycol (MEG) margins in northeast Asia rose by 6.8% week on week, while integrated MEG margins in southeast Asia rose by 8.9% week on week, the ICIS margin report showed on Monday. China MEG spot prices rose by 2.1% to help fuel the increase. Northeast Asia naphtha cracker feedstock costs fell by 1.6%, while co-product values rose by 0.9%.
