HOUSTON (ICIS)--US biopolymer firm Danimer Scientific has agreed to develop its biodegradable film resins to meet the flexible packaging requirements of PepsiCo's food and beverage business, Danimer said Monday. The agreement will enable expanded production of Danimer'a Nodax brand of polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) at its plant in the US state of Georgia, it said. PHA is used to make biodegradable plastics.
