South China domestic toluene prices fall on weak market outlook

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Spot toluene prices in south China declined post-holiday because of a weak outlook on the domestic market, market sources said on Friday. On 13 October, toluene was traded at yuan (CNY) 5,500-5,550/tonne ($835-842/tonne), down by CNY50/tonne from the previous week, according to ICIS data. Some producers cut their offers on 11 October as demand weakened from pre-holiday levels, market sources said.
