Norway's Yara Q2 net profit shrinks 77.2% on lower margins

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Yara's second quarter net profit shrank 77.2% year on year to Norwegian krone (NKr) 699m ($86m) because of lower margins, the Norwegian fertilizer producer said on Tuesday. Revenue and other income for the three months to June 2017 declined 9.2% year on year to NKr23.5bn, with operating income slumping 68.6% to NKr1.10bn, the company said in a statement.
