US Tronox shareholders approve shares issuance for Cristal TiO2 business

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Tronox’s shareholders have approved the issuance of shares for the acquisition of Cristal's titanium dioxide (TiO2) business, the US-based producer said on Monday. As previously reported, Tronox is offering $1.673bn in cash and Class A shares, representing 24% ownership in pro forma Tronox.
