Europe sulphuric acid export prices fall for first time in 2017

LONDON (ICIS)--European sulphuric acid spot export prices have fallen for the first time in 2017 amid easing availability, sources confirmed on Wednesday. Northwest Europe spot prices fell $2/tonne to $25-35/tonne FOB (free on board). Although supply remains tight, and is expected to remain so until at least the first quarter, supply and demand is beginning to return to balance after a spate of turnarounds earlier in the year.
