MADRID (ICIS)--The five-month old Spanish government has so far shown a complete lack of coherent industrial policies that could help the chemical sector’s prospects, according to the head of chemicals at the country’s main trade union. Daniel Martinez from Comisiones Obreras (CCOO) said that despite a 'a lot of disparate announcements' regarding industrial policy, the Socialist party’s government has not been able to establish a coherent industrial policy among the affected ministries, unions and trade groups that could help the chemical sector develop further.
