Danakali's African potash project has 200-year mine life

LONDON (ICIS)--Australian developer Danakali and joint venture partner Eritrean National Mining Corp announced on Tuesday that the pair's Colluli sulphate of potash (SOP) prospect in East Africa has an expected mine life of 200 years. In an update to its front-end engineering and design (FEED) assessment, Danakali says Colluli offers 203m tonnes of SOP equivalent, and has "significant capacity to underpin further expansions and support decades of growth".
