US Group I base oil market prices rise on posted increases

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US Group I base oils were assessed higher following posted price increases implemented into various grades. Group I heavy grades 500/550 and 600/650 were assessed up 4 cents/gal on both sides of the spreads, bringing the 600/650 range to $2.74-2.80/gal on buyers’ and sellers’ input that increases are finding traction.
