China September PE imports up by 8.1% year on year - traders

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's imports of polyethylene (PE) increased by 8.1% year on year to 1.21m tonnes in September, traders said on Thursday. According to the traders about 569,000 tonnes of high density polyethylene (HDPE), 252,000 tonnes of low density polyethylene (LDPE) and 384,000 tonnes of linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) were brought into the country last month.
