US March LDPE production, exports increase year on year

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US total sales, production and exports of low density polyethylene (LDPE) in March increased year on year, according to data from the American Chemistry Council (ACC) and Vault Consulting. March production of LDPE in the US and Canada increased by 0.5% year on year, while total sales of LDPE increased by 1.2% in the same period. Year to date through March, domestic production is down 4.0%, while year to date sales declined by 4.6%.
