Romania’s Oltchim puts petrochemical asset bundles up for sale

LONDON (ICIS)--Romania’s Oltchim, which has been subject to insolvency proceedings since 2013, has put a 325,000 tonne/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) installation and two other petrochemical asset bundles up for sale. Bidders are sought for the PVC II plant in Ramniciu Valdea, south-central Romania, as well as a phthalic anhydride plant (no confirmed capacity specified) in the same location, and for a petrochemical complex in nearby Bradu.
