Tessenderlo closes €313m deal for power plant at Belgium chem site

LONDON (ICIS)--Belgian chemicals firm Tessenderlo has completed a €313m deal to acquire the remaining 80% of the T-Power power plant at its production site in Tessenderlo in northern Belgium, it said on Tuesday. T-Power has been operating a 425 MW combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) plant at Tessenderlo’s site since June 2011, with the chemicals company up till now holding a minority stake of 20%.
