China’s Sinopec September base oils sales to fall 3.8% month on month

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s top oil refiner Sinopec plans to sell around 20,500 tonnes of base oils in September, down by 3.8% from a month before, company sources said. Sales volumes of Group II base oils from Maoming Petrochemical and Gaoqiao Petrochemical will increase in September due to lower demand from Sinopec’s lubricant oil producers.
