LONDON (ICIS)--Amid global sulphur shortages, China importers have acted as the control valve of the market in 2018, with worldwide prices rising and falling in line with buying interest from the country. As a result, players across the world are studying activity in China intensely to try to understand where demand will head in the final part of 2018. ICIS seasonality analysis suggests that the final four months of the year are historically the strongest for imports, although there is typically a sharp drop in arrivals in October.
