Argentina can draw another $10.8bn from IMF credit line

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Argentina can access an additional $10.8bn under a credit line with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the group said on Friday. The country has accessed $38.9bn since June 2018 under the credit line, the IMF said. Argentina sought out the credit line in 2018 to halt a deepening financial crisis. The country can access up to $56.3bn under the stand-by arrangement, as the IMF calls the credit line. It will be available through 2021.
