US BD spot prices soften as supply outstrips demand

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US butadiene (BD) spot prices fell this week on lower offers. No fresh bids emerged as demand remains steady but largely below expectations. Few domestic buyers have been in the market for spot material. Supply interruptions of BD and feedstock crude C4 (CC4) have not tightened the market much and are expected to improve in October.
