China's Yisheng Petrochemical cuts May PTA contract by CNY500/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Yisheng Petrochemical settled on Thursday May purified terephthalic acid (PTA) contract prices in east China at yuan (CNY) 6,200/tonne ($897/tonne) ex-warehouse, down by CNY500/tonne from April, a company source said. Yisheng Petrochemical operates six PTA plants, which have a combined capacity of 13.05 million tonnes/year.
