LONDON (ICIS)--Low density polyethylene (LDPE) spot and contracted prices are on the rise, boosted by a couple of unconfirmed supply issues, both at the cracker. Spot prices have moved up towards €1,100/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe), and contracted buyers are under strong pressure to pay €30/tonne more than they did in March for their monthly volumes.
