SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s domestic urea prices fell on Monday, due to the end of the agricultural demand season and weak industrial demand. Ex-works (EXW) prices from Shandong Luxi Chemical were at yuan (CNY) 1,910/tonne, down by CNY60/tonne from last Thursday (18 July). Ex-warehouse (EXWH) prices in Linyi, Shandong were at CNY1,880/tonne, down by CNY40/tonne week on week. Trade was unsatisfactory, as the agricultural demand season came to an end and downstream compound fertilizer producers made limited buying, traders in Shandong said. If regional plants maintain stable operation, prices are likely to fall further, they added.
