China methanol futures slump 3.11% on weaker downstream sectors

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's methanol futures slumped by 3.11% on Monday on the back of weaker downstream commodities. The September 2019 methanol futures, the most actively traded contract at the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE), closed at yuan (CNY) 2,058/tonne, down by CNY66/tonne from the previous settlement.
