SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Asia’s methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) prices rose by 3.77% on Tuesday, with spot buyers looking for early September-loading cargo. Prices climbed $25/tonne to a three-month high of $689/tonne FOB (free on board) Singapore, while the MTBE-over-gasoline factor was at 1.24, a near two-year high.
