BASF-YPC starts up second propionic acid plant in China’s Nanjing

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--BASF-YPC Co, a 50:50 joint venture between Sinopec and BASF, started up its second propionic acid plant at Nanjing in China’s Jiangsu province, BASF announced on Friday. The plant has a capacity of 30,000 tonnes/year, with output earmarked for China and the rest of Asia Pacific.
