SAN ANTONIO (ICIS)--The growing move toward electric vehicles (EVs) will require new lubricants while the oil services sector is moving toward green oilfield chemicals, a sales executive at specialty chemicals producer Nouryon said on Tuesday. “For EVs, transmissions and gears still require lubricants but of a different kind as they operate at lower temperatures,” said Jeff Jirak, vice president and general manager – Americas Surface Chemistry at Nouryon.
