CRUDE SUMMARY: Saudis steady the ship as crude continues to correct up following seven- month low

LONDON (ICIS)--Crude futures enjoyed a calmer session, having weathered a bearish storm earlier in the week that sent the Brent front month to its lowest price since January. Expectations of OPEC cuts fuelled speculative buyers to pile onto the futures market as Brent inched up towards the $60/bbl mark, though it traded for much of the session some way off this price - around $58/bbl.
