SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Mitsui Phenols Singapore plans to restart the second of two lines at its bisphenol A (BPA) plant in Singapore in August, as it anticipates its raw material supply to normalise soon, a source close to the company said on Friday. One BPA line is currently running at an average of 80% of capacity, while the resumption of the second line is expected from mid-August at the earliest, according to the source. Operating rates are expected to be ramped up to full tilt eventually, added the source.
