Polish Ciech Q4 net profit down 22%, sales up 4%

LONDON (ICIS)--Poland’s Ciech saw its fourth-quarter 2015 net profit fall 22% to zloty (Zl) 88m (?20.6m) from Zl 112m in the same period of the previous year despite moderate improvement in soda ash prices, the company said on Monday. Revenues moved up 4% year on year to Zl 814m, while earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) improved 22% to Zl 109m.
