Middle East methanol producers seeking India as Asia competitive

MUMBAI (ICIS)--More Middle Eastern producers are trying to push greater methanol volumes into the Indian market in view of the growing competitions in other Asian markets, traders and importers in India said on Friday. Saudi material was being offered at a competitive rate of premium at 3%-3.5% to the average of published spot prices, according to the buyers.
