CRUDE SUMMARY: Brexit spooks investors, futures plunge

LONDON (ICIS)--Crude oil futures opened in negative territory on Thursday and traded relatively stable through the early hours before weakening as the European markets opened. Both contracts remained range bound until midday, but eased off a touch through to the US opening. The downward trend quickly accelerated as Brexit fears spooked global markets and the US dollar firmed as a result.
