China’s Anqing Petchem runs ACN units at 80% on feedstock shortage

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Anqing Petrochemical is operating its two acrylonitrile (ACN) plants at around 80% of capacity on shortage of feedstock propylene, market sources said on Thursday. The 130,000 tonne/year unit and 80,000 tonne/year unit are located in Anqing, Anhui province in central China will continue running at this reduced rate up to the end of the month, they said.
