As-quenched martensite, which is widely used as a base structure for high-strength steels, has a high density of dislocations and tensile strength, but is characterized by a low elastic limit. This is related to a large amount of mobile dislocations introduced during martensitic transformation. 1) In this study, stress relaxation tests at the elastic region were conducted to quantitatively evaluate the movement behavior of mobile dislocations in martensitic steel.
