(I001)Current developments of neutron scattering measurements for steel research

摘要

The neutron scattering measurements for steel research have recently been developed (1) and would be applied to cultural heritage research as non-destructive inspection (2) 2). Here, neutron diffraction (ND), small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) and transmission Bragg-edge imaging (BE) are explained as cutting-edge techniques. The recent topics obtained by a project commissioned by the Innovative Structural Materials Association (ISMA)/New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (3-7) are mainly reviewed.
